Virginia Entrepreneurship Organization (VEO) is the community for ambitious student builders at the University of Virginia. At our core, we support students who are working on side projects and startups — those who are looking to build their first version of their product and onwards.
Our meetings involve:
Startup workshops to fine-tune your ideas or brainstorm new ones
Listening to experienced entrepreneurs speak about their startups and journeys
Getting answers to any questions you have about your projects

Artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally changing society and presents incredible opportunities, as well as ethical and business considerations. Featuring keynote Zack Kass from Open AI, McIntire's Fall Forum will specifically explore the incredible business value of AI, with a deep dive into the use case with which we are all becoming familiar - generative AI tools like OpenAI's Chat GPT. After the keynote, a moderated panel will explore how generative AI is augmenting human capabilities and enhancing business processes within organizations while simultaneously raising concerns about job displacement and data privacy.
